SUNDAY SCHOOL:

SUNDAY MORNING JOY
As you leave the sanctuary on Sunday mornings after worship services, you will hear the joyful sound of children’s laughter and shouting as they ascend the stairs to the upper rooms of the church, where Sunday School is held.
We are fortunate to have a willing teacher – Judy Pfitzer, to teach the morning classes. Each week the children are taught Bible lessons and entertained with coloring and crafts.

Youth Fellowship meets the first two Wednesdays of every month at 6:30 P.M. The third Wednesday is reserved for activities serving the community. Lance and Aimee Griese are currently the leaders of this group and lunch is served. This is open to all kids 7th grade through 12th. Bring a friend and come join us for a fun and educational evening.
ANNUAL CHURCH PICNIC

The annual church picnic is usually held in August, before the youth return to school. In recent years the picnic has been held at a private residence at one of the lakes, or at the city park by the pool. This is a pot luck event and with outdoor activities and lots of good food, it is an event not to be missed!

Annual School Supply Drive
Each year, the members of our church participate in the collecting of school supplies for the Marshall County Food Pantry. Donations are dropped off at the church and turned in to the local food pantry. Items are then given away in mid-August at the Pantry.
Top needs: backpacks that can hold a laptop; Kleenex; boxes of 8 Crayola Crayons; washable markers. All donations of any kind of school supplies are appreciated!!!
For more information, contact Marie Marlow at the food pantry.
Sewing Time

The busy sewing ladies of the church (and some other local helpers) meet in the months of November thru March on designated Thursdays (when we are not in pandemic mode). They are a busy bunch, as you can see in the photo above. This group provides many quilts and items as donations throughout the winter season. Shown above are: (left to right) Bev Seibel, Leah Luitjens, Sheri Menning, Rhonda Buer, Darla Larson, Pam Moeckly, Shirley Symens and Carol Jones. (some quilters and other helpers were not shown.)
Below is just a sampling of what the ladies can accomplish in just two of their sessions—Warm winter mittens and special pillow cases, to be used as Christmas gifts for those in need.

Adult Bible Study
Members of the community are all invited to attend Bible Studies held throughout the year in the fellowship room of our church. Seasonally, a class is held each Monday, at 7:00 p.m.
